Resin processing: Quickly producing rollers made of MC nylon through lathe processing!

Introducing a case where roller manufacturing was done using plastic resin material on a lathe! We strive to accommodate requests regarding tolerances and distortions while considering the properties of the material.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we manufacture rollers using plastic resin materials on lathes. By changing the material compared to conventional rollers, we can create products with high durability. The rollers for industrial machinery related to the automotive industry often have relatively simple shapes, and those with cutouts tend to be more expensive. Additionally, MC Nylon (monomer cast nylon) is commonly used in areas where mechanical strength (impact resistance) is required, and the material itself is readily available, making it versatile. We utilize NC lathe processing (Okuma) and often work on R-shaped processing that does not have standard products. Furthermore, unlike general-purpose machines, there are no tool costs, allowing us to offer relatively low prices even for small lots. Our inspection method involves checking the received drawings with a tick mark and recording actual measurements for areas with tolerances. We flexibly respond to various requests and conditions from our customers. Additionally, we strive to accommodate payment terms and situations where there are no drawings. Since our establishment in 1971, we have been in operation, so please consult with us once! *For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.
